A proper fry-up shouldn’t come with a deadline. At City Vaults the breakfast menu runs the whole time the kitchen is open: 9am to 9pm, every day of the week, including Sunday.
What’s on the plate
The Full English is £5.45: pork sausage, grilled bacon, fried egg, hash brown, tomatoes and baked beans, on the blue-rimmed plate. If that isn’t going to touch the sides, the Large Full English at £7.45 doubles the sausage and adds a second egg, a second hash brown and mushrooms.
The Vegetarian Breakfast is also £5.45, with two veggie sausages, fried egg, hash brown, tomatoes, mushrooms and beans. The Double Topping Omelette (£5.45) comes with any two of ham, onions, mushrooms, bacon, sausage, tomato, peppers or cheese.
For something quicker there are bacon, sausage, veg sausage and egg sandwiches at £3.99, and beans or scrambled egg on toast for £2.95. Add four halves of toast to any breakfast for £1.
Breakfast is on the same menu as everything else, so one person can have the fry-up at four in the afternoon while the rest of the table has pizza. See the whole thing on the menu, with prices straight from the till.
